Rodger Frankie Toth
On the evening of October 31st Rodger passed away at his home in Washougal while being comforted by family. He was 90 years old.
Rodger was born in Portland Oregon on January 23rd ,1933 to Frank E Toth and Daisy Irene (Post) Toth. He was an only child. He attended school in Portland and graduated high school. In December of 1952 he joined the U.S. Army for three years. He was stationed in Germany for a while as part of the occupying army and He said it was one of his biggest adventures.
When he returned from the Army, he met and married Joan G Reed of Portland and they moved to Indiana where he attended and graduated from Notre Dame with a degree in psychology.
Together they had four children, Jeffery Paul Toth, Deborah Ann (Toth) Peterson, Andrew James Toth and wife Tami (Graves)Toth and Timothy Michael Toth and wife Jodene (Bennett) Toth. Five years later he had a daughter with his second wife and named her Julie Lynda Toth.
In 1991 Rodger married Teresa Y (Nickelson) Toth, the love of his life. They spent far too few years together. He was preceded in death by his wife Teri in 1996. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Joan and his grandson Chirstopher Peterson.
He is survived by all his children, many grandchildren and even more great grandchildren.
He was a great friend to many people and was a great comfort to anyone who needed help. He will be missed by all those who knew him and his wonderful sense of humor.
There will be a celebration of life on Monday the 27th of November at the Camas community center at 1718 S.E. 7th in Camas starting at 12:00 noon.
