Richard Vernon Sundby, 91 years old, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 in Vancouver, WA. He was a 70-year resident of Clark County.
Richard was born to Hjalmer and Hannah (Toso) Sundby on October 3, 1928 in Chicago, IL.
He worked in the construction industry as a building contractor.
Richard served in the US Army and belonged to the American Legion.
He enjoyed snowmobiling and traveling in the RV with his wife, Shirley.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Susan (Jerry) Wilson of Wichita, KS, Melea Sundby of Camas, WA, Lisa Sundby of Vancouver, WA, Lori (Bill) Wright of Vancouver, WA, Rene (Christine) Sundby of Vancouver, WA; sons, Michael (Bernice) Sundby of Camas, WA and Richard Sundby of Washougal WA; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 49 years, Norine (Potter) Sundby; his second wife of 15 years, Shirley (Wren) Sundby; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
