Keith James Martin

Keith James Martin, 64 years old, passed away on February 12, 2020 in Nampa, ID from respiratory complications.
He was born in Vancouver, WA on June 15, 1955. Keith attended Columbia River Elementary School and graduated from Washougal High School in 1973. He was an athlete in high school, running track. He came in second at one meet for the mile run, with a time of 5 minutes, 7 seconds, helping Washougal to win.
Keith worked in the Camas Papermill for several years, as well as Columbia Machine in Vancouver, and graduated from Clark College with an Associates degree in Accounting.
Keith was an avid fly fisherman, often tying his own flies. He hiked, fished, camped, and boated, enjoying the area around Gifford Pinchot in Washington and the Olallie Lake area in Oregon.
He attended Treasure Valley Full Gospel Church in Boise, ID.
Keith is survived by his wife, Ida (Burns) Martin of Nampa, ID; his daughter, Katherine (Corey) Hucks of Virginia; his sister, Dr. Martha Martin (Richard Hamby) of Washougal; his brother, Major Chal Martin (Lois) of Bremerton, WA; and his three grandsons, Isaiah, Isaac, and Caiden, with a granddaughter due in a few months.
He was predeceased by his father, James “Jim” Martin; his mother, Ernestine (Sexton) Martin; and his former spouse, Julie (Fox) Hoak.
Per Keith’s request, there will be no memorial service.
