Karen Marie Zimmerman

Karen Marie Zimmerman, age 75, passed away peacefully on Nov. 29, 2023 from the effects of a few years of dementia. Karen was born April 8, 1948 in Sedro Wooley, WA, to Harold and Julianne Zimmerman. She lived for 7 years in Castle Rock and then moved to Camas in 1957. She graduated from Camas High School in 1966. After a few years at Whitworth College in Spokane, she moved to San Francisco and became a paralegal secretary for a law firm for the next 20 years. She met Ben Natal, the love of her life, in San Francisco. They moved back to Camas in 1994. They enjoyed many cruises in the 30 years they were together. Ben passed in 2011. Karen was an active member of Camas United Methodist Church for many years and served on the board and many other ways over the years. Karen is survived by her brother, Steve Zimmerman (Janice) of Camas, and six nieces and nephews: David (Jessica), Kevin, Brittney (John), Brian, Brooke (Joseph) and Hannah and was preceded in death by her parents, Hal and Judy Zimmerman and her younger sister, Judi Jean Zimmerman.
