Jerry Nichols
Jerry Nichols passed away on May 15, 2024. He was born in Nunn, Colorado to Mable (Davis) and Mike Nichols.
Jerry served in the United States Navy for four years. He worked at the Camas papermill for 38 years in the paper machine division. He was foremen for several projects and approximately 1980 Jerry was a member of the Machine #20 start up
team. After Jerry retired, he and Tanya moved to Ocean Park, Washington where they lived for 30 years. Jerry was a member of the Ocean Park Eagles and Ocean Park Moose clubs. When the rain came to Washington state, Jerry and Tanya would take their motorhome to the California desert.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 72 years, Tanya Nichols; sons Kraig Nichols (Kathie); Mark Nichols and one daughter, Vicky Sterling (Jan); one sister Arlene Conner; five grandchildren and 14 great grand children and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Brian Nichols; his parents, Mable and Mike Nichols; brothers Bill Nichols; Dick Nichols and a sister, Nadine Pehl.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on May 28 at Fern Prairie Cemetery, 26700 NE Robinson Road, Camas, Washington.
