Irma Russell Collins

Irma Russell Collins passed away on Sept. 20, 2020. She was 93+ years. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Alma Russell Dobra in 2019. Her husband, Jack Collins, preceded her in death in 2012. Irma and Jack were married for 66 years. Irma was born in Grass Valley, OR and grew up in Lyle, WA. Jack and Irma moved to Mount Pleasant above the Columbia River Gorge in 1956, where they established a huge cattle ranch, east of Washougal.
Irma was a quilter and loved puzzles. She was a true homemaker, and a hard-working rancher’s wife.
Most remember her by her smile, her laugh, and her strong work ethic.
Irma was the devoted and beloved mother of Nicki Geigert, Monte Collins, Barbara Economides, Marie LeDoux, Teresa Stout, Jeanne Knutson, 15 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all.
