Glenda Rae Sage
April 29, 1939 ~ November 23, 2021
Glenda Rae Sage left this world to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, Nov. 23, 2021. She was born April 29, 1939, to Frank and Mary Ethel Cox in Graham, TX. She married the love of her life, Raymond Sage December 21, 1956, and would have celebrated their 65th anniversary this year. Ray and Glenda were career Air Force, having lived all over the United States and France.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Raymond Sage; her brother, Kenneth Cox (Norma), and their four children: Coni (George) Barnes, Vicky (Mike) Whittaker, Daina (John) Muffett, and Roger Sage. She has 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Grandchildren: Jared (Nicole) Barnes, Tammy (Jason) Boltz, Jeffrey Barnes, Randy (Barb) Simpson, Alisha (Jason) Lollar, Jennifer (Tanner) Simpson, Antheny (Dakotah) Sage, Danielle Whittaker (previously passed), Nicole Whittaker, Jessica Muffett Melni, Brooklynne Muffett (Krissy) Hill.
Glenda’s passion in life was Jesus and her family. She spent much of her time and effort raising them, introducing them to Jesus, and training them up to love and care for all. She was first a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Secondly, she was an accountant and tax consultant.
She was involved with her church all her life. She and Ray enjoyed their antique car clubs as well.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Wounded Warriors or Laurelwood Baptist Church, Youth Camp Scholarship Fund. Both were close to her heart.
Services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Friday, Dec. 10, viewing from 12-6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 11, viewing from 9-11 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. All friends and family are welcome.
