Flora Geiger

Flora Geiger, passed on July 16, 2023; she was 93.

Born Flora Blanche LaRue on December 2, 1929 in Portland to Elmer and Ellen LaRue, she grew up in Portland and Aloha, and graduated from Hillsboro High in 1948.  After high school, she attended Lewis & Clark College. On July 28, 1950, she married John Geiger at Reedville Presbyterian Church.  They resided in Portland, Lake Oswego, and Washougal before going to Touchmark in Vancouver.

Flora’s husband John preceded her in death in 2005; and her brother Donald preceded her in death in 2006.  She is survived by her sister Gertrude Johnson (Robert); her four children: Richard (Cynthia Farina), Phyllis Danielson (Paul), Deanna (Janine Nelson), and Thomas; 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren

A memorial gathering will take place at Touchmark at Fairway Village (Vancouver) on Saturday, September 16 at 11:00am.
