Elizabeth Anne Morgan Ramsey

Elizabeth Anne Morgan Ramsey, 95, long time resident of Washougal, entered God’s kingdom on September 17, 2023. She was born March 11, 1928.

“Betty” was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother and is survived by her daughter Judith Anne Olson (Douglas), Granddaughter Amy Ellen Morris (Anthony), Grandson Ryan Morgan Isbell (Rhonelle), Great Grandsons Brodyn Winters Morris and Alden Warner Morris.

Betty spent her childhood in Boise Idaho. She met her husband Donald Ramsey in art class while attending Northwest Nazarene College. After marriage, they moved to Seattle where daughter Judith was born in 1950. They remained happily married for 72 years until his passing in 2020.

The family moved to the Camas and Washougal area, where they would raise their daughter. Betty blessed the lives of so many with her dedication of service to others. She led a very active life and loved the outdoors, camping, and antiques. She was stylish and whimsical; known for generating creative ideas and successful fundraisers for her many volunteer positions and chair positions. Betty was a selfless woman, leaving a legacy remembered and cherished by many. She was graceful, composed, poised and gifted. Her impact and influence will be forever felt by her family and friends and community, who love and miss her dearly.
