Edwin Ivan “Ed” Huston

Edwin Ivan “Ed” Huston, of Whittman, AZ, passed away March 25, 2024, at the age of 76. Born Nov. 7, 1948, in Vancouver, WA, Ed led a remarkable life filled with passion and determination.

Ed was a dedicated competitor who always strived to be the best in everything he pursued. His strong bond with family, friends, and the special women in his life never faltered, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

In his 50-year career in Real Estate, Ed excelled and made a name for himself through hard work and integrity. Beyond his professional life, Ed was renowned for his athletic prowess, particularly in basketball, earning a place in both the Camas High School and University of Puget Sound Hall of Fame. An avid outdoorsman, Ed’s love for fishing, bird hunting, and the cowboy way of life was truly unmatched.

Ed is survived by his son, Jon (Summer) Huston; daughters, Heidi (Chris) West and Keri (Jeff) Noble; brothers, Dennis (Joan) Huston and Don (Laima) Huston; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, and his lifelong friends, Randy Dickerson and Mike Bourne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Myrtle Huston; and niece, Jodi Huston Floro.

A celebration of Ed’s life will be held Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Clark County Saddle Club, 11407 NE 174th St., Battle Ground, WA 98604.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Thunder Mountain Farms Equine Rescue in Enumclaw, WA, in honor of Ed’s memory.

Ed will be laid to rest alongside his parents at the Camas Cemetery.
