Edwin A. Schmid, age 68, passed away in his home on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. He was born October 21, 1951 to George and Emma Schmid, in a military hospital at Camp Cooke, CA. He was a lifelong resident of Washougal and lived 47 years on the Schmid farm, which was homesteaded by his great-grandfather Zitzelsberger.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Schmid.
He is survived by his mother, Emma Schmid; siblings, Jim (Jolette) Schmid, Mary (Alan) Hargrave, Frank Schmid, Carolyn (David) Simms, Cindy Schmid and Kevin (Shelly) Schmid, as well as 14 nieces and nephews, 10 great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
