Donna Lee Bettasso

Donna Lee Bettasso was called home to her Lord and Savior on April 26, 2022 at the age of 91. She was born May 21, 1930, in Tacoma, WA. Donna was the last of twelve siblings and lived her life fully up to the last day. She was a fabulous, fierce, loving mother to her five children: Michael Cahill (Spicewood, TX), Patricia Allen (Haverill, MA. Deceased), Marsha Cahill-Coleman (Manchester, NH), Kathleen Rollins (Deer Park, WA), and Timothy Cahill (Weare, NH). She had 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She loved visiting with all her family and friends, writing and receiving letters, seeing the ocean, celebrating and decorating for holidays, playing Rummicube, and reading late into the night. Donna enjoyed traveling and seeing new places and was always up for an adventure. She loved shrimp fettuccini, lobster, Chinese food, and all lemon desserts. Wherever she went she made friends and kept them for life. Donna was fun-loving and had an infectious sense of humor.
As she reunites with family and friends who have gone before her we rejoice with her as the Lord welcomes her home. Services to celebrate Donna’s life will be held at Christ Church of Deer Park at 5804 W. Herman Rd., Deer Park, WA, on June 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon following.
