Dennis E. Morgan
December 10, 1960 ~ September 12, 2021
Dennis lost his long battle with lung cancer. Always a fighter, his initial prognosis was six months and he lived over two years. In his final days he was surrounded by people that loved him.
Dennis was born to Anna Branstetter (Layne) and John Morgan in Vancouver, WA. He was raised by his stepfather Jess (Buck) Branstetter. He lived the majority of his life in the Camas/Washougal area.
He was a disabled veteran that served in the National Guard and a patriot at heart. He loved fishing and hunting and really wanted to make it to Elk season this year. He also loved music and there was a time when you could find him singing karaoke at Big Foot Inn.
Anyone that knew him knows what kind of temper he could have but he also had a very loving side and everyone he loved saw and felt it. He loved to laugh and always had a joke to tell, however inappropriate.
His jokes, smiles and laughs will be forever missed by all those that knew him, especially his family.
Dennis is survived by his brothers, John and Eddie Morgan; sister, Tami Morgan; fiancé, Michelle Zajic; five children, Meranda Rowe, Michelle Morgan, Dennis Morgan, Jr, RyAnn Morgan and Corina Morgan; and three children he loved like his own, Steven, Willie and Sara Zajic. He was known as Poppy to 11 grandchildren, plus five of Michelle’s that he adored, and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Anna and Jess Branstetter; and father, John Morgan.
