Beverly Webster

Beverly Webster, 90, passed away at St. Catherine’s North, Fargo, ND on June 19, 2024.

Bev was born on June 6, 1934, in Embden, ND to Carl and Edna (Marshall) Dewerff. She grew up in Wheatland, ND where she attended grades 1-12. She was a member of the girls basketball teams that won the state championship in 1951 and 1952.

After high school she attended Mayville Normal School where she received a one-year degree and taught in rural school at Gardner and Enderlin.

Later, she moved to Minneapolis, where she met her husband, LeeRoy Webster. They were married August 31, 1957. Together they had 5 children, Carla, Jon, Kristi, Kae and Marcee. Bev worked in Fargo and for the Hawley Herald. In 1978, they moved to Camas, WA. There she worked for the Camas-Washougal Post Record newspaper until she retired in 2004.

In 2011 Bev moved back to Fargo where she lived until her death. Bev had a special love for people. Many enjoyed her caramel rolls and rhubarb torte. She touched many lives and her wit and teasing stayed with her to her last days.

Bev is survived by her children: Carla (Lee) Aipperspach, Jon Webster, Kristi (Dan) Pfingsten, Kae Wagner and Marcee (Wes) Wright; her grandchildren Benjamin, Andrew, Rachel, Phillip, Makayla, Thomas, Daniel, Brittanni, Katelyn, Derrick, Samantha, Emma, and Ainsley; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Sally (Kenneth) Cameron and Judy (Bruce) Clark.

Bev is preceded in death by her husband LeeRoy, her parents, sister Audrey and her husband Donald Leonard, brothers C. Richard and Dale Dewerff.

Celebration of Life Service: Monday, July 29, 2024, at 11 AM, West Funeral Home, Casselton, ND, with visitation one hour before the service.

Burial: Monday, July 29, 2024, at 9 AM, Wheatland Cemetery, Wheatland, ND
