Alta L. Cotton

March 29, 1926 ~ June 16, 2022
Alta was born in Arriba, CO. After graduating from High School she moved to San Diego, CA. where she met Elvin Cotton who was being discharged from the US Navy. They were married in 1946 and moved to Washougal in 1947. They enjoyed traveling and visited all 50 states, being snowbirds in Arizona, and many trips to Lake Shasta. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, cross stitch, gardening, and feeding hummingbirds. They were members of the Washougal United Methodist Church since 1949. She was married to Elvin (Al) for 70 years before he passed in 2017.
She is survived by her daughter, Lois Clark (Leo); son, Dale (Catherine); grandchild, Adam Cotton (Joanne); great-grandchildren, Lillian, Clara, and Jameson.
