Patricia Shaver

Patricia Shaver, 66, of Washougal, WA, passed away Nov. 6, 2021, due to a brief illness of metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. She was born in Portland, OR, on Nov. 3, 1955. Her mother was Winifred Murray (Hibbard), and her father was Charles Joseph Murray, Sr. Her foster parents were The Porter’s. They resided in Portland, OR. Pat’s passion was crocheting, quilting, tatting, knitting, and embroidery. She did beautiful work with anything she made, especially tatted and crocheted snowflakes and other Christmas tree ornaments, afghans, baby blankets, potholders, dishcloths, just to name a few. She belonged to the Oregon State Tax Consultants doing Tax Preparation and accounting work. She worked in accounting for an Engine wholesaling company in Portland. Pat moved to Washougal, WA, and married the love of her life Scott Shaver on Jan. 11, 1997 and had one son Jeffrey. She continued working in tax preparation and accounting. She was good at what she did and was very fast on the 10 key machine. Pat was a devoted wife and mother, always putting family first. She will be missed every day.
Pat is survived by her husband, Scott Shaver; son, Jeffrey; sisters, Edyth Witcher and Cecelia Murray; sister-in-law, Connie Roberson; brother-in-law, Chuck Shaver (Diane); nephews and nieces, Christina Cabelly, John Murray, Chad Murray (Brianna), Reanne Mann (Jeff), Shane Crider, Ty Brubaker (Elise), Dustin Brubaker (Fawn); all of whom will miss and forever keep her in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, foster parents, and brothers, Chuck Murray, Jr., Ward Sumner, and Fred Murray.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on March 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at Camas Friends Church, 1004 NE 4th Ave. Camas WA. If you wish to donate, give to a local Cancer Research Association of your choice.
