The Camas boys cross country team claimed second place at the 4A bi-district meet Saturday, in Tacoma. Both of the Papermaker boys and girls squads will compete in the state championship meet Saturday, Nov. 7, on the Sun Willows Golf Course, in Pasco.

Five Camas girls cross country runners finished in the top seven of the 4A Greater St. Helens League district championship race Wednesday, at Lewisville Park in Battle Ground. Rachel Blair (17) won with a time of 18:49, followed by Emma Jenkins (19) in 18:53.

Bailey Duncan and Aiden Pullen earn third and fourth place for Washougal in the all-league race Thursday, at Hudson's Bay High School. Duncan finished with a time of 16:37, and Pullen followed in 16:41.

Corinne Bintz is coming back strong from a labral tear in her shoulder. The Camas High School senior posted one of her best times in the 200-meter individual medley Wednesday, at LaCamas Swim & Sport. She earned second place in 2:44.07.
