Washougal High School senior Danielle Devall and junior Tristan Fackler will perform the lead roles in the drama department's production of "The 39 Steps." Fackler is the hero Richard Hannay, while Devall portrays Pamela, a love interest. The show opens Friday.

Student actors who will be performing in the upcoming Washougal High School production of "The 39 Steps," have been working hard in rehearsals since January. They are eager for the curtains to be drawn on opening night.

Grad Night Committee hosts dinner before play

In conjunction with the WHS drama performance of "The 39 Steps," on Saturday, March 14, the WHS Grad Night Committee will host a fundraiser that includes a silent auction, raffle and pasta feed in the commons area at Washougal High School, 1201 39th St., at 5 p.m.
