$8 million shortfall expected next year

A member of the Camas School District’s budget committee told Camas school board members Monday the committee is addressing the district’s looming 2019-20 budget deficits.

Camas High to stage ‘Hunchback’

When Sean Kelly announced last year that the Camas High School drama department would produce and perform “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” as its annual musical the following spring, his students weren’t overly enthusiastic about the choice.

Camas students clean up at regional fair

Camas High School students have competed in the Southwest Washington Science and Engineering Fair for more than 10 years, and in most of those years they’ve done fairly well.

Discovery High School innovators place third at Mercy Corps event

Three groups of Discovery High freshmen from Camas recently competed with young innovators from Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington for cash prizes and the quest to solve one incredibly important problem — a lack of food for the world’s population by 2050.
