New business lets fans celebrate Camas

Fans of Camas hoping to wear their hometown pride on their sleeve won’t have to look too far, thanks to the opening of a new business, Papermaker Pride, in downtown Camas.

Students represent WHS at board meetings

Washougal High School (WHS) students Briahna Ruth and Maliyah Veale are involved in a variety of school activities, including the Associated Student Body (ASB) leadership group and the Panthers’ cheerleading squad. They are also the school’s student representatives to the Washougal School District (WSD) board of directors during the 2019-20 school year.

Washougal school board greets newest member

As a former math and science professor and researcher, Jim Cooper is pretty good with numbers. But he wasn’t prepared for the onslaught of letters that he faced during his first meeting as a member of the Washougal School District (WSD) board of directors, held Dec. 10 at Gause Elementary School.

Washougal teacher, volunteer named heroes
