Proud of WHS students I attended the Washougal High School Holiday Bazaar Nov. 17. It was great to see the different student groups participating. From students manning the Stuff the Bus table to the choir's wonderful music to the Interact Club's goodie table with the proceeds going to Uganda to even middle school students raising money for their basketball team. It was a great time shopping.

Speak up at coal hearings As you know, the forecast is to have 24 coal trains rumble through Gorge communities. These slow moving trains are each 1.5 miles long. They will degrade life for a million people all along the route from Montana to Camas and from Camas to the proposed terminal near Bellingham.

Where is the justice? Our Constitution states "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice,..." Yes, "to establish Justice" is stated in our Constitution. Where is "justice" in a tax code that allows millionaires and corporations to pay a smaller percentage of federal income taxes than our working citizens?
