Camas resident Lara Blair has enjoyed creating art in some form or another since she was a child. Painting is her most recent passion, and she will have an exhibit at Peace Yourself Together at the First Friday events in downtown Camas.

Tranquility and time

Lara Blair has been a “maker,” her entire life. So, after the Camas photographer traded in her camera for a third-grade classroom, she needed a new creative outlet.

The new Excelsior High School is a substantial upgrade from the former drafty portables that occupied the site. It is expected to be finished in April or May, as weather permits.

Rick James founded His Presents in December 2016. It is an organization that builds tiny houses for the homeless. He lives in Washougal with his wife and children.
