Camas North Shore ‘vision’ taking shape

The vision for Camas’ North Shore area — an 800-acre swath of land extending from Lacamas Lake to Camas’ northern city limits long touted for its potential to house the city’s burgeoning population, provide parks and open spaces for future generations and build the city’s inventory of commercial and light-industrial lands — is beginning to take shape.

‘Pass the Mic’ brings theater classes to all students

Washougal Arts Festival heads online throughout August

The Washougal Art Festival will look markedly different this year, morphing from a single-day in-person event to month-long social media showcase. But its mission of promoting the work of local and regional artists will remain exactly the same.

Camas author releases ‘Madam Arbitrator’ memoir

It’s been a good year for women’s memoirs — Netflix turned former First Lady Michelle Obama’s bestselling memoir, “Becoming,” into a documentary; World Cup champion and Seattle Reign FC player Megan Rapinoe released her memoir, “One Life,” about her fight for social justice, equal pay for female athletes and LGBTQ rights; and former United States Secretary of State and seven-time New York Times bestselling author Madeleine Albright reminisced on her decades-long career in her newly released memoir, “Hell and Other Destinations.”
