Survey Says: More walking trails, please

An overwhelming majority of people who responded to a recent survey about the future of Camas’ parks, recreational activities and open spaces felt very strongly that parks and recreation is critical to the city’s quality of life.

Forest Moon Yoga opens in Washougal

The dull yellow interior walls of the Forest Moon Yoga studio in downtown Washougal are bereft of any decoration whatsoever. There’s no artwork, no photographs, no shelves, no signs 一 absolutely nothing. One would never be able to tell the space formerly housed a tattoo parlor.

Port director rides for a good cause

Port of Camas-Washougal Executive Director David Ripp usually hops on a bicycle to exercise, de-stress and connect with the natural environment. Later this summer, he’ll add “riding for a good cause” to that list.

Washougal residents share ideas for future library

By the end of the day on Thursday, July 29, the informational sign boards that lined the interior of the Washougal Town Square were covered with a variety of brightly-colored Post-it notes containing a variety of handwritten comments about what local residents would like to see in Washougal’s future library.
