WSP: ‘slow down, move over’ after second death of tow truck driver

In four separate collisions since December, two Washington tow truck technicians have been killed, one required a leg amputation and another received lower body injuries as a result of being hit while assisting a disabled motorist. These tragedies highlight the danger to individuals who regularly work along the shoulders of our busy and congested roads.

Camas wrapping up first phase of lake management plan

Consultants hired by the city of Camas will soon complete the first phase of a two-phase lake management plan designed to address pollution sources and improve lake water quality in Camas’ Lacamas, Round and Fallen Leaf lakes, but critical data collection will have to wait until the state approves the city’s Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP).
