When the Washougal Learning Academy (WLA) leaders decided to select a school mascot and logo last summer, they wanted the chosen symbol to represent more than the WLA itself. They wanted it to be, in their words, “something special.”

Camas School District: The Camas School Board will hold a regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, in the Dennison Board Room at the Zellerbach Administration Center, 841 N.E. 22nd Ave., Camas. The Board requires in-person meeting participants to adhere to COVID-19 mitigations, including wearing a face covering. The meeting will be livestreamed and available for later viewing on the school board’s YouTube channel.
