City of Camas to survey residents

Camas officials are hoping a 2022 citywide community survey will shed some light on how Camas residents feel about their city government and the services it provides.

Downtown Washougal ‘moving in the right direction’

Earlier this year, representatives from dataPARC, a Vancouver-based technology company, reached out to Ed Fischer and asked him to help them find a new home for their growing business. They told Fischer, a commercial real estate agent and the former owner of Camas Bike and Sport, that they preferred to land in Camas or east Vancouver if possible.

Washougal teachers contract in limbo

Washougal Association of Educators (WAE) members began the 2022-23 school year without a new teacher contract after failing to reach an agreement with the Washougal School District by the first day of school on Tuesday, Aug. 30.

Camas Station moves forward

An independent hearings examiner has cleared the way for Camas Station, a gas station-car wash-retail complex, to be developed at the corner of Northwest Brady Road and Northwest 16th Avenue in Camas’ Prune Hill neighborhood.
