The Camas volleyball team qualified for the 4A state tournament by winning two of its four matches at the 4A District 3-4 tournament, held Nov. 11-12, in University Place, Washington.
When the girls of Girl Scout Troop 45703 were much younger, troop leader Tammy Mackey took them to Hathaway Park in Washougal and asked them to walk on top of the rubber bumpers that surround the playground to keep wooden shavings out of the grass.
