Washougal residents shocked by rent increases

Saree Adams has dealt with several serious medical conditions, including a brain aneurysm, during the course of her life, but she doesn’t have any cardiovascular issues that could have caused some significant problems on Thursday, Aug. 18, when she found a piece of paper taped to her front door that informed her that her monthly rent total was going to increase by almost $400.

Washougal runners place in top 5 at state

The Washougal cross country team exceeded its own lofty expectations at the 2A state meet, held Saturday, Nov. 5, at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco, Washington, placing three runners in the top five of their respective races.

Camas School District: The Camas School Board will hold a workshop at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in the Dennison Board Room of the Zellerbach Administration Center, 841 N.E. 22nd Ave., Camas. New ‘no parking’ signs in Washougal draw ire

Washougal resident Lowell McCuller can still recall how stunned he felt the day he discovered, in early September, that city workers had installed several “no-parking” signs along the northern side of “Z” Street, near McCuller’s home.
