Parker’s Landing trees selected for ‘heritage’ status

The Washington State University Master Gardener Program has selected seven trees at Washougal’s Parker’s Landing Historical Park to join its Clark County Heritage Tree program, which recognizes “trees of significance” in unincorporated Clark County.

Family donates tree to Washougal

The city of Washougal gave local residents a special gift during its annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting event, held Thursday, Dec. 1, in downtown Washougal.

Camas Council OKs 2023-24 budget

Following months of back-and-forth conversations about the city’s most pressing priorities and ways to fund them — including the passage of a new 2% utility tax on Camas’ water, sewer, garbage and wastewater utilities — the Camas City Council has unanimously approved Mayor Steve Hogan’s proposed $250,397,285 biennial budget for 2023-24.
