Camas man retires from MacKay & Sposito, Inc.

A former president and chief executive officer of MacKay & Sposito, Inc. has retired. Al Schauer, of Camas, served most recently as a senior principal at the civil engineering firm. He was responsible for managing new office growth, mentoring new employees and serving as a project advisor.

Neder’s Auto Service closes up shop

A long standing automotive business that specialized in oil changes has closed, while its neighbor continues to serve homemade cinnamon rolls and biscuits and gravy. The owner of Neder's Service Gary Lively said he closed it because of the economy, the construction on "E" Street and the price of petroleum products.

Psychologist relocates in downtown Washougal area

The first tenant of Washougal Town Square has left the building, but her new office is only a block and a half away from it. Friday was Martha Martin's first day in the new space at 82 Washougal River Road, Ste. 110.
