Leadership Clark County is hosting a free information meeting on Tuesday, March 18 for candidates interested in learning more about the community leadership program and applying to enter the class of 2015.
The Urology Clinic of Southwest Washington and its three urologists, Dr. Adrienne Heckler, Dr. Eric Kline, and Dr. Terry Milam, recently agreed to join The Vancouver Clinic. The goal is to integrate with The Vancouver Clinic by May 1. Dr. Douglas Masson, a Camas resident and president of The Urology Clinic, described joining The Vancouver Clinic as "the best possible way to continue to serve our patients."

A mother of two girls has created a company that sells an assortment of children's outfits and other supplies useful to parents. Amy Jo Begley opened 4Ever Growing Kids, in downtown Camas, in November 2013. "I wanted a business that I could bring my children to work with me," she said. Begley previously provided program sales and administrative/bookkeeping services for a traveling children's entertainment company for more than 12 years. "I was just inspired to bring a great quality consignment shop with great customer service, and I enjoy what I do," she said.
The chief executive officer of a silkscreen supplies company will be the featured speaker at the next Clark County PubTalk. Ryan Moore will describe his journey from window washer and punk rock musician to founder of Ryonet, Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m., in the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site Artillery Barracks, 600 E. A local resident has been elected to a volunteer leadership position with the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Carol Van Natta, of Camas, serves on the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy board of directors. She is the executive director and chief development officer of the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Foundation. Van Natta is a past president of the local AFP chapter.
Friday was moving day for the employees of the downtown Camas State Farm Insurance office. Linda Huff and her staff have relocated from 605 N.E. Third Ave. to 350 N.E. Fourth Ave. The new location includes a larger main level office. Huff's agency has been at the same site for 18 years. That office was previously occupied by Frances Strobeck and her State Farm staff for a decade. Meanwhile, the Focus Designs office has temporarily relocated from 350 N.E. Fourth Ave., to a vacant space next door at 340 N.E. Fourth Ave.
