Westlie Ford recently donated $2,000 to the Jack, Will and Rob Boys and Girls Clubs in Camas.  The donation will be used to support local families and children who face food insecurity.

Westlie Ford grants funding to JWR Center

Representatives from Westlie Ford in Washougal recently presented a $2,000 check to staff and youth at the Jack, Will and Rob Boys and Girls Club in Camas. Half of the grant was a gift from the Ford Fund and the other half provided by Westlie Ford.

Trivia Night will be held Dec. 9 in downtown Camas

The free event will be held Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m., at Mill City Brew Werks, 339 N.E. Cedar St., Camas. It is organized by the Camas Public Library. The event is funded by the Friends & Foundation of the Camas Public Library and Mill City Brew Werks.

Ryan "Boomer" Boomhower creates a tattoo for Traci Grieve, at 3rd Heart Tattoo, in downtown Washougal. Boomhower opened the new business on Oct. 24. He has been a tattoo artist for more than eight years.

Caregiver conference registration

The 2014 Annual Caregiver Conference will be held Saturday, Nov. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the PeaceHealth Southwest's Health Education Center in Vancouver.
