Camas, Latest News, Life, News In honor of Hunger Action Month, the Camas Public Library is hosting a food drive through the month of September. Donations will be given to the Camas School District’s Family-Community Resource Center (FCRC).
The donation box is located inside the library, near the north entrance.
All non-perishable food items are welcome, and the FCRC has requested easy-prep meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner along with food that is appropriate for school snacks, such as fruit cups, granola bars and similar items. Pantry staples, soups and pasta sauce also are highly needed.
