The Camas Parks and Recreation Department’s 36th annual Pumpkin Party will celebrate all things autumn from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Liberty Middle School, 1612 N.E. Garfield St., Camas.
The Pumpkin Party will feature carnival games, prizes, candy, fall crafts, a photo booth (bring a camera) and a costume contest that starts at 8:15 p.m.
Trick-or-treat bags and mini pumpkins will be given to the first 300 children. The activities are designed for ages 12 and younger, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
The event is free; however, two cans of food or non-perishable items will enter participants in the drawing of the annual Halloween-themed basket of goodies. Donations benefit the Interfaith Treasure House’s food bank.
Sponsors of this year’s Pumpkin Party include Camas Community Education, the Camas School District, Portland Party Works and VFW Post 4278.
