Washougal library fundraiser to be held Oct. 19

The Friends of the Washougal Community Library group will hold “Smashing Pumpkins Dance Party,” a fundraising event to benefit Fort Vancouver Regional Library’s new Washougal library, from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Get To-Gather Farm, 1913 S.E. 303rd Ave, Washougal.

The 21-and-older event, which will feature pumpkin smashing, music and more, invites people to “put on (their) favorite costume and get ready to dance the night away.”
