The 17th annual Camas Car Show returns to downtown Camas this weekend, from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 29.
“Come stroll the beautiful streets of historic downtown Camas and enjoy the many classic and custom cars and trucks that fill the town,” the Downtown Camas Association (DCA) urged visitors, stating that the annual event is “always an exceptionally fun time.”
Hosted by the DCA, the event will feature plenty of vintage cars and trucks, as well as more than 20 awards, including “Best in Show” (won by Randy and Charlene Crum in 2023, for their 1955 Chevy Belair) and “People’s Choice” (won by Paul Cox in 2023, for his 1965 Ford Mustang) awards, as well as raffles, live music, dance performances at 5 p.m. by members of the Virtuosity Performing Arts Studio, a variety of family friendly activities and a free Hot Wheels car for the first 100 coloring contest participants.
The car show, which is free for spectators, will also host a food drive to benefit the Camas-Washougal Treasure House Food Bank. Participants who bring two needed food items — canned soup, mac-and-cheese, canned tuna and canned chicken – will receive one free raffle ticket.
