Camas-area residents are invited to “adopt” benches for the soon-to-be renovated Crown Park.
The Crown Park Adopt-A-Bench program to support Camas Parks Foundation and the Camas Parks and Recreation while commemorating family, friends or special events by adopting a bench in the newly renovated park through a tax-deductible contribution to the Camas Parks Foundation.
The contribution amount includes the placement of a new bench and a plaque to be engraved with an individualized inscription. The Crown Park renovation starts this month and is set to be completed in early 2025. The benches purchased will be placed in the park and plaques will be attached on them prior to the grand opening or as soon as practical.
The bench adoption fee is $3,000 and will span 15 years.
