Washougal store to host backpack giveaway

The Verizon-Cellular Plus store in Washougal will hold a backpack giveaway event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 27.

The free packs will be filled with school supplies. A child must be accompanied by an adult to claim a backpack. Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
