Camas Lions Club awards scholarships

The Camas Lions Club recently awarded two $2,000 scholarships to local high school graduates.

On June 6, the Camas Lions Club celebrated the achievements of Emily Shin and Maria Navarro, at Natalia’s Cafe.

Shin will be continuing her education at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. The Lions Club stated in a news release that Shin’s “dedication to academics and her involvement in the community made her a standout applicant.”

Navarro has chosen to pursue a degree in criminal justice at Washington State University Global. “Maria’s commitment to making a difference is inspiring, and we’re excited to see her future contributions to the field,” the Lions Club stated.
