Camas Parks and Recreation will be celebrating its 30th year hosting the popular “Summer Concerts in the Park” series, which offers family friendly performances in a variety of musical styles.

The free concerts will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays in July, beginning July 11. Though normally held at Camas’ Crown Park, this year’s concerts will all take place at Dorothy Fox Park, located at 2023 N.W. 23rd Ave., due to the renovations happening at Crown Park.

This year’s first act, on July 11, will be River Twain, featuring Americana style with their “Dust Bowl Soul” sounds.

Camas band Fox and Bones will perform their “fiery folk rock” music, July 18. And crowd-favorite Ty Curtis returns with his “get on your feet and dance” blues rock, July 25.

Natalia’s Too! and Snowie Vancouver food concessions will be available.  Concertgoers also can also support local restaurants by purchasing takeout meals from a variety of downtown Camas restaurants and picnic dinners are always welcome.

The Summer Concerts in the Park series is coordinated by Camas Parks and Recreation.  The concerts are free to the public thanks to the generous support and sponsorships from Riverview Community Bank and the Camas Parks Foundation.

Alcohol is not allowed in the park.  For more concert details, visit cityofcamas.us/parksrec and click on “Special Events.”

The summertime concert series will return to Crown Park in 2025.
