Letters to the Editor Washougal School District leaders, staff deserve recognition
Another award reminds me that, over the past decade or so, our Washougal schools have transformed — better, and better and better — well beyond even my hopes.
I offer my deepest respect, congratulations and thanks to our superintendents — Dawn Tarzian, Mike Stromme and Mary Templeton — and the staff they have so successfully nurtured.
The Washougal School Board is also beyond deserving. Despite challenges of COVID and personal attacks motivated by politics from far away, they have excelled.
It is my personal belief that we have the best, most functional, school board and staff in the area.
