Latest News, News The Office of the Washington State Auditor has given the Port of Camas-Washougal a clean accountability and financial audit for the 2022 fiscal year.
The report found that Port operations “complied, in all material respects, with applicable state laws, federal regulations, audit requirements, and its own policies, and provided adequate controls over the safeguarding of public resources,” according to a news release issued by the Port.
“The Office of the Washington State Auditor’s vision is to increase trust in government,” the news release states. “Independent audits provide essential accountability and transparency for Port operations.”
