A motorcycle rider died after a collision on Washougal River Road in the early morning hours of Saturday, Oct. 23.
A 911 caller reported a motorcycle collision near the 2400 block of Southeast Washougal River Road shortly after 2 a.m. Oct. 23, according to a Clark County Sheriff’s Office news release.
“It was reported (that) a single motorcycle left the roadway, injuring the rider,” the news release states.
First responders from the Camas-Washougal Fire and Washougal Police departments and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene and discovered that the motorcycle rider had passed away, according to the news release.
The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the rider, and Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit detectives are conducting an investigation.
The case is active pending further investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
