Fire marshal to hold lottery for fireworks permit March 27

The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is taking applications for one retail firework permit to be assigned by lottery to be held on Monday, March 27.

Fireworks cannot be sold in Clark County without a permit.

Applications for the permit lottery can be obtained on the county website at clark.wa.gov/code-administration/fire-forms-and-fees. Only one completed application may be entered per person or organization.

All lottery permit applications must be received at the Fire Marshal’s Office no later than 4 p.m. Friday, March 24, regardless of how they are submitted.

Applications must be mailed to the Fire Marshal’s Office, 505 N.W. 179th St., Ridgefield, WA 98642; faxed to 564-397-2076; or emailed to firemar@clark.wa.gov.

The applicant chosen by lottery will be contacted immediately.
