Latest News, News ReFuel Wasougal is seeking volunteers to help it operate its severe weather shelter this winter.
“The shelter, located in the Washougal community center, is only open during severe weather conditions,” shelter coordinator Tia Billings wrote in an online survey. “We can not open if we do not have enough volunteers. Please come to a training (session) to learn more. Let’s make a difference together.”
Volunteer positions include guest check-in, meal serving, and coffee maker, according to Billings.
