Camas Parks and Recreation will host its 32nd annual egg hunt, “The Camas Egg Scramble,” at 1:30 p.m. Easter Sunday, April 9, at Crown Park, 120 N.E. 17th Ave.
Participants are encouraged to arrive ahead of time, as all egg-hunting events will start at the same time.
Candy and prize-filled eggs will be hidden in designated egg hunting areas color-marked for age groups 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 and 10-12. The Camas egg hunt is unique in that all ages start at the same time from their designated areas.
All children participating in the egg hunts must be accompanied by an adult, but adults will not be allowed in the egg-hunting areas, with the exception of adults accompanying children ages 3 and younger, or children with special needs. Participants should also bring a basket or bag in which to collect their eggs.
All abilities are welcome to join in this annual event. A designated “Egg Stroll” has been developed to prioritize accessibility and enhance this inclusive activity for all ages. Those needing accommodations should call Krista Bashaw at 360-834-5307.
