Latest News, News, Schools, Washougal Stride ‘fun run’ returns in May
The 2022 Washougal Schools Foundation (WSF) Stride Fun Run for Education will be held on Saturday, May 21.
Proceeds from the yearly event, which was canceled in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, provide opportunities for students via teacher grants from the WSF.
“These grants fund programs and projects that otherwise would not be available,” the WSF website states. “Runner fees cover event costs, so our wonderful donors and business sponsors provide the real fundraising power of this event.”
The event, traditionally held at Fishback Stadium, features youth runs for grades K-5 and a 5K run/walk for high school students, middle school students and adults.
