The Camas-Washougal Fire Department is collecting donations for its annual C.A.R.O.L. program to help make the winter holidays a bit merrier for Camas-Washougal residents in need.

Members of the CWFD and East County Fire & Rescue District are coordinating donations and delivery of food and gifts to local families and individuals.

In 2022, the C.A.R.O.L. program delivered holiday food boxes and gifts to 82 families, including 233 children.

To contribute to this year’s efforts, donate non-perishable food items and/or new, unwrapped toys or gifts — including gift cards and movie passes, which make great gifts for teens — by Camas fire stations at 616 N.E. Fourth Ave., or 4321 N.W. Park St., by Monday, Dec. 12.

Monetary contributions are needed and can be made payable to C.A.R.O.L. care of the Camas-Washougal Fire Department, 4321 N.W. Parker St., Camas, WA 98607. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
