Latest News, Life, News Camas Parks and Recreation is partnering with Columbia Play Project this year to bring exploratory play spaces for the young and young-at-heart during Camas’ annual Family Fun Fridays in August.
The first event of the popular Family Fun Fridays series is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Crown Park, 120 N.E. 17th Ave., and continues every Friday in August at various Camas parks.
Family Fun Fridays will feature activities such as exploratory play, toys, giant bubbles, stomp rockets and chalk art. Activity guests will include Music Together, which offers a variety of musical instruments to experience; and Little Warriors Yoga School, which will provide a yoga and mindfulness station.
The free, child-friendly series continues every Friday in August, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at various Camas parks:
- Aug. 5 at Crown Park, 120 N.E. 17th Ave.
- Aug. 12 at Dorothy Fox Park, 2023 N.W. 23rd Ave.
- Aug. 19 at Louis Bloch Park, 160 N.E. Joy St.
- Aug. 26 at Grass Valley Park, 3211 N.W. 38th Ave.
No registration is required. Attendees should note that alcohol and animals are not allowed in Crown Park.
